Pregnancy Massage:Curriculum: This intense 1 day seminar will teach you the tools to work with pregnant women using a set of techniques and standards that explores the physiological, structural, and emotional well-being of both the mother and her child. The hands-on demonstration and practice will focus on the most troublesome areas reported by pregnant women. Students will be able to understand and recognize contraindications, possible complications, and risk factors of pregnancy. We will also cover up-to-date research to help validate this work, as well as, a marketing segment to help you grow your practice! Engaging lectures, discussion, and guided practice will help you to adapt your own protocols and techniques.

Prerequisites: Designed for massage therapists, that have graduated from a 500 or more hour program, or other health related professional with an understanding of anatomy. Any other bodywork students and practitioners seeking the theoretical understanding to safely adapt their own protocols and techniques to pregnancy's demands may be allowed with prior authorization.
Required Class Materials: Students need to bring massage table, 2 sets of sheets, 4-6 pillows (at least 2 king size), wear or bring comfortable clothing for practical portion of class.
CE Hours: 8CE (NCBTMB) with attendance and satisfactory participation in the class activities. Class usually meets 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Tuition investment: $99, if registration received one month in advance; $125 thereafter.
